Job Description:

- An in-depth understanding of OO and SOA principals and design patterns with extensive architecture and design experience in a large scale web environment is required. Must have a proven track record of creating and driving successful solutions to complex technical issues.

- Familiarity with REST service design and iterative software development methodologies required.

- Experience in the designer or architect role using the Microsoft .NET platform, familiarity with Windows Communication Foundation, C#, Team Foundation Server, and/or Visual Studio 2010 is a plus.

- Requires excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.

- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recommending architectural solutions as well as obtaining buy-in and instituting processes resulting in successful architectural implementations and audits.

- A BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is strongly preferred.

Active Directory Migration Project The current AD is designed using multiple directories and best practices from over 10 years ago.  Much has changed since Microsoft release their first directory service and this project is to redesign Active Directory to become the single foundation directory service for Rockwell. The goal of this project is to clearly define and document the strategy and design for Active Directory aligned to current best practices, to better comply with our auditing and control requirements, and be restructured to more easily automate administrative tasks.  MUST have AD experience.
